Delacour Development Corp. (“DDC”) has entered into Agreements to purchase approximately 315 acres of approved development land 6 minutes East of Calgary which includes The Canal at Delacour Golf Course.
DDC has branded the housing community as "Delacour Crossing" which will include construction of approximately 480 home sites (up to 60 feet wide), connected paths, park space, and a village center that will have amenities for the entire community.
Delacour Crossing is located on the extension of Country Hills Boulevard, just 6 minutes from the East Calgary Stoney Trail ring road.
The project will feature a rebranding of the existing golf course as:
"The Golf Club" at Delacour Crossing
A new 10,000 sq. ft. clubhouse club house and home-owners facility:
"The Club House" at Delacour Crossing
A new year-round driving range and sports facility featuring Top Tracer:
"The Range" at Delacour Crossing
A farmers market featuring greenhouses and event space:
"The Station" at Delacour Crossing
"Delacour Crossing" will provide country residential living to 480 new homes surrounding one of Alberta's best championship golf courses.
Delacour Crossing will include 480 Lots with up to 65’ widths facing the golf course and the canal; 50’ widths for single family estate lots; and 40’ widths for side-by-side villas

Hal has over 4 decades of experience in real estate investment and development as well as in corporate, community and political organizations. His companies have built world-class resorts and hotels, as well as residential and commercial projects. Amongst other things, they have developed SilverTip Resort in Canmore, Eagle Ranch Golf Resort in Invermere, B.C ., the Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman Hotel and Golf Resort with Jack Nicklaus and the Hyatt Regency Calgary with Balboa Land Corporation. Hal's business acumen and knowledge of corporate governance are strong and highly sought after. He chaired Ralph Klein's run for leadership of the Alberta PC Party in 1992 and acted as a senior advisor to Premier Klein. Hal was also a senior advisor to Premier Jason Kenney and is currently an advisor to Premier Danielle Smith. In 1992 Hal received the Commemorative Medal for the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada and in 2022 he received the Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Medal.
CEO & Chief Financial Officer
Gerry has over 35 years of senior financial management experience in a variety of industries. He has served as an executive in public and private companies in Canada, and has founded several ventures in oil and gas, real estate and other industries. Gerry brings financial structuring, investor relations, and corporate governance skills to the Delacour Development Corp team. Gerry has been consulting to a high-end custom home builder in Columbus, Ohio the past 2 years, in the New Albany Country Club community, designed by Jack Nicklaus.
Chief Operating Officer
Simon spent 15 years with AGT/Telus working in various departments in engineering, and designing underground conduit systems from highway crossings to river crossings, all while obtaining a diploma in Telecommunications and Architectural technologies. Simon followed his passion and started designing custom residential homes, which led him to start his own framing company and completed over 125 homes.
In 2007 with 2 other partners, Simon started Hawkhill Homes, building high end spec and distinguished custom homes in Aspen Estates and the Springbank area for some familiar names such as Jarome Iginla (Brittania) Stephen Ames (Aspen Estates) and Jim Quinn (Developer of Aspen Estates). In 2010 Simon became Area Sales Manager in Timberline Estates for Crystal Creek Homes. In 2012 Simon headed “The Renovation Design Center”, a division of Crystal Creek Homes. In 2015 Simon formed Simcoe Developments focusing on new single-family homes, row houses and large renovations. Simon possesses the hand on skills for all aspects of construction.
Chief Marketing Officer
Adam has over 25 years of experience in multiple industries with a focus on sales, marketing, and business development driving corporate growth. Having sold to Fortune 500 companies and serving on several boards, he has led organizations to expand into new markets while minimizing risk and maximizing returns. Adam has attended Mount Royal University as well as an IT contracts course at Osgood Law School. He was appointed to the CSRD Economic Development Society (SEDS) Board as a founding Director, and is currently the President of the North Shuswap Chamber of Commerce.
Adam Co-Founded GDS which developed the community of South Shore in Chestermere, AB.
His responsibilities will include all Sales and Marketing activities of Delacour Development Corp, as well as managing all aspects of Information Technology.
